The MORSE group has wide ranging interests in all aspects of marine optics, from single cell optical properties to mapping material distributions across ocean basins from ocean colour remote sensing. Our fundamental philosophy is the application of rigorous physics to problems that are intrinsically interdisciplinary in nature. Current research activities include:
